ANALYTICS IN DETAIL
From incoming goods inspection to independent laboratory testing, various test procedures provide information about identity, ingredients, and purity.
Raw materials are checked as soon as they arrive. Incoming goods inspection takes place in a GMP-certified pharmaceutical environment in Germany.
A SEC identity test supports verifying whether the raw material actually contains the specified mushroom species.
Analytical procedures enable the examination and classification of selected ingredients such as polysaccharides.
Independent laboratory testing examines, among other things, pesticides, heavy metals, radioactivity, PAHs, and microbiological contamination.
SEC IDENTITY TEST
Every raw material is subjected to a SEC identity test. SEC stands for Size Exclusion Chromatography.
Polysaccharides are analyzed chromatographically and presented in a distribution curve. The characteristic pattern supports the identity verification of the respective mushroom raw material.
The goal is to verify in a traceable manner whether the specified mushroom species is actually being processed.
BATCH TESTING
Laboratory testing examines a broad spectrum of possible residues and contaminants.
INDEPENDENT CONTROL
The batches are tested by the state-accredited laboratory group AGROLAB.
Testing includes, among other things, pesticides, heavy metals, radioactivity, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and microbial contaminants.
The independent laboratory analysis thus complements the other quality controls along the process.
